NCAA draw Monday 1:00

Mais and the Buckeyes advance to round of 8 with PK win over Stanford. Otherwise, Big Ten eliminated.

This year will have to go down as a disappointment, winning only 11 games with this much talent. Aside from that hot streak in October, the offense just couldn't produce despite having talents like Sarver, Mihalic, and Weiss. All 3 of those guys graduate, so I'm real interested to see what changes Todd makes for next year. He doesn't seem to like the international route, so he's going to have to hit it big in the transfer portal and have some type of high impact freshman like Bezerra.

Final four: Marshall, Vermont, Denver, OSU. I think the pipeline of top Midwest kids will ensure a solid program that doesn’t feel like a roller coaster ride like so many of the foreign programs but it’s hard to compete at the very top. Marshall and Vermont are heavy foreign, Denver and osu supplemented with foreign players. Throw in mls poaching. Different world now

I'll be rooting for Mais and the Buckeyes: not only one of the greatest IU players ever, but seems like a great person too.

Vermont vs. Marshall for the championship Monday night. Sorry to see Mais and OSU come up short, especially after the week they had.

Vermont wins it all. 2-1 golden goal in 1st OT to beat Marshall. Just goes to show how this tournament-more than any other spot-is a wide open every year. Vermont unseeded.
