MTG threatens to burn the whole thing down

* Sigh *

You are hereby fined $5.00 by the Kangaroo Court. Our records indicate this is your first infraction. Reform yourself and avoid the resulting downward spiral so many have experienced.

If you must, it’s s*****. And hockey is just s***** without teeth.
if I had a dime for every time somebody on this board said I need to reform myself, I could buy a champions league soccer team

What in the actual F*@k are you talking about?

I'm actually serious here. I have no idea what that means. Are you saying that I - me specifically - think if people don't waive rainbow flags they're against me? What?
I don't think it. You type it. Don't hate the reporter that reads your post, post how you love MAGA or GTFO. It's really not that complicated.
OH, are you still at your last known address? If so, we are coming to interview you. If you are not, we will find you shortly, there is a paper trail for EVERYTHING.

I steadfastly oppose Gaetz and do so based upon what is publicly known about him.

Having said that, I also steadfastly oppose releasing the contents of the investigation. Several reasons

1. The subject of the investigation has no due process with the investigation. No right to confront an accuser or even know who it is. No right to cross examine. No right to appear and without knowing the basis of the charge, any defense would be a problem.
2. Those who appear and give testimony at the hearings have immunity from any defamation charges.
3. We cannot and must not determine this question based on Gaetz or what he has been nominated for. There is more at stake than this individual. The senate can, and should, do its own investigation.

This issue is not about Gaetz or Trump. I think Gaetz is slimy, dishonest, and has no professional demeanor. He is an awful choice for AG. That’s not enough to toss the rules and release the report.
Here's the main witness - he seems real credible.

"In 2021, Greenberg pleaded guilty to six charges, including sex trafficking of a minor, identity theft, stalking, wire fraud and conspiracy to bribe a public official, and agreed to cooperate with federal investigators as part of his plea agreement. He was sentenced in December to 11 years in prison."

Gaetz will do a good job. he seems measured and thoughtful and his legal career is unassailable. he spent a little time with a firm with a handful of lawyers in okaloosa county where he handled a workers' comp case, some traffic matters, and a few associate level negligence actions.
Hey, Mayor Pete filled a few potholes in South Bend. That makes him qualified to be Transportation Secretary!
