So Leal makes a wonderful play to put us up 4 points with 20 seconds left. Game is won, right? Of course not. What do we do? First, we give up a very easy bucket to make it a 2 point game. Now, Maryland is in an obvious foul situation, right? So, get the ball to your best free throw shooter, Rice? What does IU do? Well, we inbounds to Rice. Great! But hey, this is Indiana. He then passes it to Trey who is a 65% FT shooter. What does he do? Yep, you guessed it, brick city. Marlyand now has the ball with a chance to win. IU has a foul to give to slow a play down and disrupt it. Do they call a timeout? No. What happens? Yep. Maryland hits a three to go up one. Indiana with plenty of time left to inbounds the ball and get a high percentage shot near the rim or even draw a foul. Down one, what does IU do? Inbounds the ball to Rice in the corner who has to shoot a cockeyed three with two defenders on him. This fellas. THIS! Is just another example of a team who is not coached well nor makes good in game decisions. They fought back to win it but are just too ignorant and have a total buffoon of a coach to compensate for it. Two losses in a row and about to turn into 6 in a row. End this season already and move on to a new era. Eff this shit.

How can You be in your 4th Year of Coaching a team and not know Who you want on the floor for Your last possession? With over 5 seconds left on the clock why wouldn't You have one big man on the floor when You have time to make two passes for a shot and can force contact inside?

You forgot to say the incompetent chaos of subbing out your best scoring threat while leaving in the struggling guy who is trying to come back from injury.

Need more payroll.

That will fix it.

Not culture. Not cohesiveness. Not coaching. Just more money

You’re down one.
Not 2.
Not 3.
4 seconds.
And In the bonus.

Take the bigs out because they need shooters??
MM back in cold because despite his 1099 you don’t trust him defensively in the last 8 min?

Please.

Bitches setting up to get to the bottom of the league now that Minny has decided to play.

Suck on that pipe fellas. Pull deep

Once again we see the one who gets paid tons of $ to coach completely lost and confused . Team played hard and well enough to win if there wasn't a coach messing it all up.

IMO, biggest CMW mistake was going back to original starting 5 when 2nd half began. We all saw the winning combo, and Rice plus 2 bigs wasn’t it tonight.

He needs 10 million in nil.

No more evidence is needed. This has been a poorly coached team throughout his tenure, which would've been understandable and forgiveable if things improved. They have not.

Not to mention the obvious lack of discipline. Ballo laying into Rice to the level other players/staff had to intervene. Supposedly cursing at coaches. Pouting and walking off and not going through the handshake line. But I guess that was learned behavior from his coaches last game. Woodson not being accountable about calling the TO. (Refs knew how many TOs IU had left and their ears are trained like rabbits to hear coaches in that situation.). This is not how IU basketball built its reputation. Make it stop before the reputation is completely tarnished.

This!!! I think Purdue outscored us 11-1 to start the second half. First five minutes of each usually determines the game.
Yep. And I think the last minute or two of the 1st half was absolutely killer. IU probably should have been up 8 or 10 instead of 4.

In this case I can’t slight Ballo. He finds himself in this s@#t.

"Make it stop before the reputation is completely tarnished". We're past all of that. IU's reputations is now the least of its worries.

Didn't watch, didn't have any desire to watch. Tried to watch IU Indy the other night but they lost to Robert Morris 106-53. So I stopped watching that about 12 minutes in. Meh, modern basketball sux anyways.
