Really is a travesty. Look at this.

2500 attempted fraudulent registrations.

Pennsylvania’s motor-voter law is a disgrace. But you keep quibbling about your one case of fraud.

All of this is so simple to solve. Citizenship verification to register (SAVE act). Same day voting. Paper ballots.

Instances of thwarted fraud means that no fraud is occurring.
But we know a very large potential source of fraud, people moving from one state to another. We had a compact that would look and report the to be removed from the old state. But as part of it, states were required to send postcards to non voters encouraging them to register. Republican states did not like that and dropped out. So the millions that have moved states remain registered in all.

A pretty big risk of fraud for not wanting to send a postcard.

Cleaning voter rolls is not hard. Stop making it sound like it’s hard. Some states just don’t want to do it.

We’re just going to disagree on this. I don’t believe everyone should vote. I don’t believe in rallying every single citizen to vote. If you’re apathetic and uninformed, please, please don’t vote.

Nearly all from people paid piece rates to register voters, sponsored by political activists of all stripes. And they were caught, so no fraudulent votes resulted.

Everything /= everything.
How do we know no fraudulent votes will result from this scheme?

They are not cleaned properly in any state. When you moved to Chicago, they should have contacted Bugtussle and told them. That does not happen. There is a gap.

The article below says 2.75 million were registered in multiple states in 2012. And later, some big names were found registered in multiple.

First, a reporter at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune uncovered that Stephen Bannon, senior adviser to the president, was registered to vote in both Florida and New York.

Steven Mnuchin, Trump’s nominee for secretary of the treasury; White House advisor (and Trump’s son-in-law) Jared Kushner; and First Daughter Tiffany Trump were also all registered to vote in two states, as CNN, the Washington Post, and Heatstreet reported, respectively.

Long prison sentences from conviction on RICO crimes for election corruption would be effective.

When I moved from Austin, Texas (quite a backwater hellhole like Bugtussle) back home to Chicago I registered to vote immediately upon return, and procured my Illinois identification. The Texas SoS office purged me from the voter rolls during their annual cleanup. In the chance there was an oversight, someone with my identification would have needed to vote in my stead fraudulently in Texas.

This is not hard. Stop making it sound hard.

You sure you were purged? Sounds like IF Austin thought you moved they would put you on a suspension list, meaning you will be purged if you do not vote this year

Now the question, how did Austin KNOW you moved out of the city?

Usually of people fail to vote in MULTIPLE elections, they are sent registered mail telling them they must attest to still living where they are registered. This is not done out of the blue, nor for not voting in a single election.

How did Austin know you were gone?

How would someone have voted in my place considering Texas requires voter identification?

Stuff is not hard.

I don't know. My crystal ball is on the blink.

What's your point?

You could vote. You could vote in Illinois and Texas.
We’re talking super, super edge cases of voter fraud at this point. Assuming every state puts in place common sense voter ID laws and voter roll cleaning. Someone would have to move states, procure a new ID, retain their old ID, go back to their old state and vote, as well as vote in their current state.

You go through with that. You’ve earned fraudulent vote

This from the party that believes bus loads of people are doing this.

Keeping the ID is easy, change your license but not your NRA membership.

But even beyond voting twice, if you had just moved from Wisconsin to Illinois, you wouldn't realize just how much more valuable your vote is in Wisconsin.

I’ve seen the clip of Livingston dressing down that woman in the coffee shop online. Makes me want to watch.

I say let’s tackle the large problems first. Non-citizens and people that haven’t voted in years, clear them from your rolls. Require ID. Don’t automatically register everyone who gets a drivers license. Common sense stuff.

Then we can get into the minutia. What you’re proposing is federal intervention which is a piss poor idea.

How many non-citizens voted in 2020?

In regards to your last paragraph...I have a friend that lives in Chicago (for at least 8 years now) who posted a pic of her holding her Wisconsin ballot saying she just proudly voted. It is common for younger Chicagoans to keep things like their car registered in Wisconsin , Indiana, Michigan etc to save on insurance and city stickers. Anyone know the legalities on this? If Wisconsin comes down to one vote...
