With all the injuries and Davis looking like he’s playing injured should he get a chance to play against Michigan? If he can’t hang then get him out of there but I think he’ll do fine. I’m to the point I think Archie wants him to transfer after the season because he has his eye on a recruit next year and wants an open scholarship. Do you guys think this may be the case?

I can't imagine that being the case. The kid is long and very athletic. From what I have seen he has some raw skills but for whatever reason is just out of position on defense and that is huge in Archie's system. You can maybe argue if he was given more experience then he could improve in this area. I dont know but I think we take one more player that being Brooks hopefully and we are not oversigned and we don't push anybody out. If Moore puts in the time and improves his defense then he should be a solid contributor for the next 2 years. I don't see him holding him out on purpose.

No. You have used your first post to read coaches mind. What else you got Carnac?

Davis played 5 minutes yesterday and looked exhausted. Also took his customary tumble with resulting catastrophic injury. Much rather see Fitz or Moore out there, at least they can get up and down the court.

You want a kid that has barely played this year to be thrown against a top 5 team on the road?

Archie isnt the kind of guy to do that. Hes just trying to help Moore improve. If he does, he will play. I'd say Moore is close.

Hooefully DD is not hurt. In limited minutes, Deron D has played well. Wish he could play more, but coaches seem to put him in situations he can be effective. When teams guard him with one guy on the block, count on a bucket or foul. If double teamed, he hasn't forced it like he used to. His D has been decent too...ie not getting called for fouls every other defensive possession.

Yep, imo, to be at our best, we need Davis in there. What I'm hoping for is that he starts playing him in a rotation: 5 minutes to start, set him for 5-10 then another 5 min stint. Same in the 2nd half. He's great at occupying the other teams big and being our backline defender. It'll keep Morgan out of early foul trouble, and leave him fresher from not having to battle a guy who's got 30+ lbs on him. And he's a dependable 3rd scorer on the block.

wonder if he will ever take a shot more than 6 feet from the basket?

If he makes them at the rate he does; who cares? Him being a legit 3rd scoring option is great for others on the floor, especially RP, RL and JM. Drive and dishes from RP and keeping defenders honest with the other 2. He could easily be a double figure scorer by the 2nd half of the B10 if he can get up to 15+ mins a game.

I'm "to the point" that I'm sure you're full of crap and wish you'd go away forever.

In only three lines you say "get him out of there," "I think he'll do fine" and "I think Archie wants him to transfer." There is so little consistency in these statements that it would butcher the English language to say you were INconsistent.

I don’t think he would mind if he transfers. Moore will never be a major contributor. I’m hoping Archie can’t update his spot next year.

And no he shouldn’t play unless we run out of other options. And I mean every other option possible.

Moore still looks like he doesn't know where he needs to be at all times on defense and is slow to recover/rotate on D. Archie isn't going to play you if you don't have everything down on D.

You want a kid like Clifton to start to put it together because he is so tall and long.

Clifton's length is intriguing if he can develop his D and skill level to see the floor.

I really like Forrester's energy level and activeness when he is in the game.
I see much upside for Forrester at IU.
