DEI was killing military recruitment. That's over now, thank God.
The statistics show no such thing. Link something that indicates that. I’m no fan of DEI, but I seriously doubt DEI is even a top 20 consideration one way or the other for young recruits.

Of course I’m serious. The previous fiscal year was way up over the one before that. Before Trump was elected, and his election was not a factor. A very small fraction of the young people we recruit care about politics. What we have here is a clear case of you WANTING the election of Trump to be THE motivation and it just isn’t and you have absolutely no proof that it is.
I interviewed every new Sailor in my last two ships after they reported. You know how many mentioned the President (Bush and Obama) or politics as a reason they joined? Exactly ZERO. That’s hundreds of Sailors. You MAGAs that think Trump is the factor are only projecting your unhealthy love for the man onto young people that think you are a delusional old man with a creepy man crush. No offense. 😄

The numbers increased, but recruiting goals weren't being met. Incremental increases mean nothing. The military is now meeting its recruiting goals under Trump and they weren't before.
You can try to play with numbers all you want, but recruiting is way up under Trump.
Biden wasn't President when you interviewed your sailors.
Motivations for joining the military haven’t changed and who’s President isn’t one of them. It’s a dumb argument to make.
Real or perceived…the previous administration was seen as alienating a very large group that historically made up a large part of the recruits.
Personally, I know of one guy who waited until the election results to decide to join.
Perceived. Recruiting is continually studied to see what motivates enlistments. I’ve never seen any that lists who the President is as a factor. It may be for some small percentage, but it’s not a big motivator or demotivator.

That’s a large part of volunteers.

There is no study that finds that recruiting is significantly impacted, up or down, by whoever the President is. Google it. I'd say don't be obtuse, but you can't help it.

I joined when I was 17 and still in HS. Delayed entry program. I went active duty 3 weeks after I turned 18.
If you were 21 or older in Basic Training, you were considered to be an old man.
