I don't get their love of jackasses. If every maga person votes R, every "RINO", independent, Democrat vote D, they really think they win easily. 2022 should totally disprove that. And in the House they already will lose one seat because of the Supreme Court's decision. There is no more room for error.

Not counting the radioactive George Santos, there are 8 Republicans in Dem-leaning districts. Dem caucus should offer them to keep their current seniority and pick of committee assignments to switch teams.

Trump has a mystique his followers love of "sure I am a jackass, I don't care". That hasn't been playing well in suburban America. I don't see it changing. Oz hitched his wagon to that. The old saw has been people vote for the person they want to have a beer with. Candidates can say simply that they want to lower spending without going for the whole Patton speech before the movie "we are going to wade into their blood, spill their guts" thing.
