Martial Law in South Korea!

Slightly OT: Speaking of South Korea, they’re going to get taken over by the NK because there won’t be anyone left. He needs to declare martial law and force everyone to start having babies. @BadWakeboarder this is why I don’t want depopulation. I don’t know how governments turn it around.

When the US is unstable, it trickles down.

The battle between the Partisans over Trump since the night Hillary lost has destablized more than just a few friends and families who no longer have Thanksgiving together.

Yeah I was reading the other day where some lady cancelled Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners because a lot of her relatives voted for Trump.

We just had our annual family Thanksgiving (my sisters, their husbands and all our children). I think everyone is now a Republican (most of us started out Democrat) and I know about half did not vote for Trump and the other half are big Trump supporters because they'll occasionally say something only MAGAs believe (because it's false). However, as usual, Thanksgiving was fun and pleasant as always. Everyone respects the views of the others, and we basically avoid talking about politics. If someone says something political, which is rare, we move on rather than argue about it. We focus on family stuff, sports (Cowboys, Bengals and Colts fans in the group) and IU, UofL or UK and we manage not to argue about sports either. Politics should not be splitting families.

That's the way it should be!

Sorry Aloha, but if someone were to try and talk up Kentucky at my family Thanksgiving, they'd probably leave with a black eye.

Same at my house - except Democrats outnumber Republicans on my wife’s side of the family.

There wasn’t much political discussion. What discussion there was took on a good-natured tone. It’s really silly to fight with people (especially people you care about) over politics.

A lot of people in our country need to learn or relearn the art of civil and polite disagreement.

Agree 100 percent with the bolded. It’s needed on this board too.

I call bullshit!

Everyone knows (because MAGAs on here tell us so) that ALL Libs walk around and look like this since Hillary lost in 2016:
no-nooo.gif

So any family dinner with a Lib would be impossible.

Martial law ended after National Assembly voted unanimously to end it. Yoon's political future is probably not looking good.
