Current players decisions...All the remaining guys come back, so Trey, Anthony, Malik, Mack, Gabe, Jakai...
Jakai gets fully healthy, and is as good as I think he's going to be (starter level good)
This offseason additions...
Player A - Starting level PG (multi year portal guy)
Player B - Starting level scoring/shooting wing (multi year portal guy)
Player C - Starting level scoring/shooting wing (multi year portal guy)
Player D - Main rotation level big man (multi year portal guy)
Player E - Main rotation level perimeter player (portal guy)
Player F - Quality depth, versatile perimeter/big guy (portal guy)
Player G - Higher level late HS signee
Summer Class of 2025 commitments...
1 national top 50 guy
1-2 guys from the in state kids we're in on (Haralson, Sisley, Mullins, etc...)
1 more national guy in the 50-150 range
Woodson "Surprisingly" moves on at years end, after a solid 2nd weekend NCAA tournament performance...
We hire a really good, solid, basketball coach...and are able to retain most of the kids above...
That would likely leave us with: Gabe, Jakai, Players A, B, C, D, G, and then 2025 kids... would just need 3-4 portal kids next year after that.
The biggest problem with this, and where it starts to become less realistic, is attracting good multi year guys this offseason.
Dolson almost needs to give Woody some sort of symbolic extension or something, that doesn't bump the buyout really all that much...to help him sell recruits that he's "solid".
