Well, at least Archie can chew gum and keep his pants up.
Probably doesn't mean all that much to some; but, to me it seems like it is important.
I like diet coke so I'd much rather have a diet coke than chew gum. Maybe the gum keeps him from pacing the sideline like a mad scientist and clapping all game.
Just rewatched the game and at one point while chomping hard on the gum, he had the McNutt stare down going as well.
...or hiking up the pants, or clapping haphazardly, or doing a funny thing with the tongue, non female related. Did a Runnin Rebel fan ever comment that Coach Tarkanian needed to lose the towel he chewed?
That said, I did notice the gum and found it to be a bit distracting for my taste, but it's not my call on what CAM can or can't do with his nervous energy.
A huge wad would probably be okay if it wasn’t so dang blindingly white. Chew 3 pieces of pink Dentine at one time if large wad he must. I spent what seems like nearly a lifetime instructing people not to chew gum because it was just a nervous habit that wears out the “TMJ”. I very rarely chew it today, three or four times per year, and only a half stick at that when I do.
The only thing I ever noticed about Archie was the tight fitting suit last year that looked too small. My wife said it was the look at the time, but Archie doesn't pull it off because he isn't a metro sexual millennial. I'm glad he is back to adult clothes this year.

Archie was a porker last year, he is wearing the same style suit now, he just is 30 lbs lighter and in shape.
I was going to post about his suit....I was going to see if anyone else noticed.
The one he had on v. Troy does not fit. The sleeves are too short, as is the length of the pants. I'm serious about it......not a great look for someone making $3.5 M a year. Not a huge deal, but you would think someone in charge would see it.
I haven't noticed it this year, but I did last year. He had his jacket off one of the games. We joked about the image of his brother sweating through his shirt a few years ago.
Maybe his wife picked the tight look out for him to be "fashionable" and he finally had enough and threw the coat off. Let's see if he has a better fitting suit during the next game.
It would be a good question to send in to his coaches show. I dare you!
