i have previously posted that I have this gut feeling that Williams will become a Hoosier. In some respects, this is slightly similar to the Bedford recruitment. 1) They are both from the same geographic area. 2). They both are seriously looking at other schools. 3). The process has been somewhat quiet. 4) we have really developed a nice network in Memphis area in developing trust with key decision makers.
He’s taking a trip to Oregon this weekend where he will find a fully loaded recruiting class and that his value is not as high there as it is at IU. TN is now in mix but I don’t believe they have relationship we have with him.
As for MN.... he verballed quickly after his visit. He was excited with the rah rah approach of Coach Fleck. He’s thought further and I just don’t think they are priority now.
