Agreed that Myorkas is awful. Let's not forget however that Noem has been managing the smallest state government in the nation, for just 4 years. Now she will not only oversee the border (Customs & Border Patrol), but also ICE, the Secret Service, and FEMA.
Based on this, is she really the best person willing and able to take this job?

Noem has no large scale law enforcement experience. It’s obvious Trump’s picks are to advance an America First objective and other agendas.. That includes asking what benefit any given policy provides the United States. As far as immigration is concerned, Noem is way ahead of Mayorkas.

The indirect result is more power to the deep state. In both Noem and Hegseth cases, if they are confirmed, staff will do the actual hands on work.
