Kremlin: US sudden shift in foreign policy “largely aligns with our vision”

Last week began with the US breaking from its longstanding European allies and siding with Russia and North Korea in opposing a UN resolution condemning Moscow’s actions and supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity. It ended with the embarrassing and disgraceful ambush of Zelensky in the Oval Office. And now this stunning acknowledgment from the Kremlin.

God help America.

You’re dumber than a box of rocks. Did you watch the entire meeting? My guess is no. Zelensky got gassed up by Dems prior to the meeting and made a complete ass out of himself. He got exactly what he deserved.

God bless America.

I know you take Trump's word as gospel and that you love uncited, unverified and anonymous sources on twitter, but you really should go back and look into how that investigation actually turned out.
And you all take legacy media word as gospel. All they do is lie. Divide and conquer. Morons make is very easy for them.

sanction russia and assist in getting them out of Ukraine.

Working with western Europe on a plan instead of siding with Russia, North Korea would be a start.
Sanctions didn’t work and won’t work. They brought Russia and China closer. Russia is doing just fine. The US should not be comfortable with a closer Russia and China. You guys have no idea of what you speak.

This is silly. People like you will rail on the 'legacy media' and turn around and share a meme from catturd as undeniable fact.

The fact is, a well-sourced article, story or other piece of journalism is usually pretty sound. People put their names, reputations and careers on the line to be accurate. Is there misinformation out there? Sure. But if you graduated high school it's not hard to determine good from bad info.

Has Trump done anything wrong as president? Ever?

I mean, I'm not surprised to see you and others proclaim that Trump is playing 4-D chess that most brains can't comprehend, but damn, at some point following all that pretzel logic and gas lighting has to get exhausting.

No he didn’t. Zelenskyy attended a meeting with Democratic and Republican Senators at the same time. What you think happened at that meeting is total bullshit. Support for Ukraine was bipartisan. Now we got this crap.

Every time you call anyone dumb I literally LOL. You’d have to get a lot smarter just to be stupid, you dishonorable POS.

Are you dense? The solution is a comprehensive, meaningful deal that provides security guarantees for Ukraine and sanctions for Russia should they breach it.

I posted (above) Rubio's "Somebody please get me the fvck out of here" photo from last Friday, and I'll follow up. In 2023, Rubio stated that if Russia could expand its territory in Ukraine by outlasting the patience and support of western countries, it would set a dangerous precedent for China to invade Taiwan or other territories it claims belongs to them.

Rubio, at the time, was also sharply critical of DeSantis when he described the war in Ukraine as a "territorial dispute" and that the US should avoid "further entanglement." Rubio said then that Russia was trying to take out the Ukrainian government and control the entire country and that its aggression could not be settled with conventional treaties and peace agreements.

Finally, it's important to note that, a few days after the Russian attack in 2022, Rubio said he could not understand why the US "can't begin to openly say [to Ukraine] that we will support them as long as they are willing to fight." What changed? Hint. There's a new inhabitant of Washington DC. He's 250 pounds, orange, consistently full of shit, and virtually every prominent, elected Republican is afraid of him.

So Russia is going to agree to this deal? And we know that how? Why didn't Biden propose it over the past 3+ years? He could have thousands of lives.

A good start would be to follow through on the 'security guarantees' we agreed to in 1994.

There were no guarantees. You're own articles states it.

"Washington did not promise unlimited support. The Budapest Memorandum contains security “assurances,” not “guarantees.” Guarantees would have implied a commitment of American military force, which NATO members have. U.S. officials made clear that was not on offer. Hence, assurances."

But putting the aside, why didn't Biden povide security guarantees to Ukraine? Why didn't he do anything?

Why dishonorable? That seems a stretch.

I’m sure he’s made mistakes. This isn’t one of them.

Ty has no shame. In his eyes the sun rises and sets on Trump. Best to just ignore him.

I eased up on you when I found out you were going through stressful times with your family. That doesn’t seem dishonorable.
Eased up? You’re about as bothersome as an earthworm. If it makes you feel better, I think you’re a bit smarter than an earthworm.

You will forever be a dishonorable POS in my eyes. For good reason. No reason to respond to me. I’m not interested in your opinions. I will continue to LOL every time you call anyone else dumb. That’s hilarious!

Go back and read the last two paragraphs.

Nope. No guarantees. Just an opinion of what the US should do.

"U.S. officials did assure their Ukrainian counterparts, however, that there would be a response. The United States should continue to provide reform and military assistance to Ukraine. It should continue sanctions on Russia. It should continue to demand that Moscow end its aggression against Ukraine. And it should continue to urge its European partners to assist Kyiv and keep the sanctions pressure on the Kremlin.

Washington should do this, because it said it would act if Russia violated the Budapest Memorandum. That was part of the price it paid in return for a drastic reduction in the nuclear threat to America. The United States should keep its word."

And since 2019, when the article was written, which of those items have we not done?

So far, we've done them all, but that seems to be ending this week.

I don’t think anyone was suggesting US soldiers get involved on the ground in Ukraine.

I meant they're not our soldiers, so let them die.

So, again, what is the Dem plan to end this war? Keep following the advice from that 2019 article? Keep funding Ukraine and the war until it comes to some natural conclusion?

All Z had to do was smile, stroke the ego of Trump, and sign the deal. Asking for more than that, like security guarantees, was insulting. Having the mineral rights IS a security guarantee. US companies mining the most important thing we need - rare earth minerals.

1 be in the same place they are now in a year with our money down the shitter and more dead
2 if z wanted to sign he could have signed. Period. A deal wasn’t done. So this was premature.
3 I believe the duty for decorum and grace rested with us not z. Man has been living through years of war. Who knows what his mental state is at this point. Maybe they do need someone new for the diplomacy bit. Someone with a fresh approach. You take your opponent as you get them and this isn’t woke social workers like Harris and walz. It’s a guy with narcissistic personality disorder and another guy on the spectrum

Agree with that, especially #3. I think he needs a translator at all times too.

I still think if it was just Z and Trump things would have not turned to shit. JD was looking for a fight. Then Trump got swept up into it.

I still think if they keep Vance out of the room, maybe they can get some shit done.

I dunno. Trump's actions today are making me uber skeptical.
I added a very impt bit. Z isn’t dealing with woke social workers like Harris and walz. He’s dealing with a guy with narcissistic personality disorder and another who is on the spectrum. Throw in a language barrier and it’s not easy. Showing pics of atrocities to that jury won’t do shit. Empathy isn’t there. Z needs to enlist someone to bid on his behalf. Fresh

I was hoping that the anti-Vance contingent in the WH would convince Trump that Vance was trying to undermine him, and that would naturally lead to a stronger desire to support Ukraine.
