6-foot-11 forward Javonte Brown-Ferguson entered the transfer portal this afternoon. He was a freshman at UConn. He played in just two games and averaged two points and one rebound.
He was originally a member of the 2021 class but reclassified to 2020 when he committed to UConn.
He chose UConn over Texas A&M and Kansas. He held an offer from Indiana.
Kenya Hunter was a key recruiter here when he was at UConn.
I wouldn't be surprised if IU got back involved here with the frontcourt need.
