Keady has a winning record over RMK when including his vacated wins. And Gene had one more win than RMK head to head which only makes CMW’s wins over CMP a little less impactful especially when you compare a 27-25 Big Ten record to 39-13 in the last three years.
It’s him. I just listened to a replay podcast of that show.Doesn’t look like him. I’m a big fan of Greg’s
Wasn’t that a 3-14 matchup??I think it was 86 when IU lost to Cleveland State in the first round. I don't remember the seeds, but I do remember saying with my good friend Bill, "Who in the world is this Mouse McFadden? How come we can't stop the Mouse?"
They have to make the tournament first to get the titles. One has titles. The other doesn’t
Just for clarification, that's KEADY'S vacated wins.Keady has a winning record over RMK when including his vacated wins.
The Pac10 is going to take care of that.I’m probably alone on this but I don’t much like what either program’s doing currently, at least “aesthetically” speaking-especially on offense.
But I feel much the same about nearly the whole conference these days. Most B1G games have become hard to watch, both in terms of play style and even more so in terms of the officiating.
I suspect the conference is ripe for a new coach with a more creative system (that isn’t as dependent on uncalled moving screens and other “physical” play that usually fails in the NCAA tournament) to come in and shake up the conference and its approach to the game.
I’d love to see that happen, but I’d hate to see it happen at Ohio State or Michigan.
Mike Davis was 9-2 against Keady. If RMK doesn't get fired, then it isn't close. RMK still had a winning record against PU.
3 nattys vs 0. That’s all that really mattersMike Davis was 9-2 against Keady. If RMK doesn't get fired, then it isn't close. RMK still had a winning record against PU.
Davis also went to one more FF than Keady.Mike Davis was 9-2 against Keady. If RMK doesn't get fired, then it isn't close. RMK still had a winning record against PU.
I don’t remember losing to 15/16 seeds back then.
14.I sure remember a few tournaments from that era where we did nothing much.
What seed was Cleveland State?
4/13 game. But I also remember a couple banners.I sure remember a few tournaments from that era where we did nothing much.

I was counting post 1981 I guess. So I count one banner.4/13 game. But I also remember a couple banners.
In addition to have skills the Hoosiers needed at the time, Keith Smart and Dean Garrett were quality people. Willing to be coached and buying in 100% to the system. One thing, when Bobby's team looked like it might be down on talent, he went out and got Dean Garrett and Keith Smart. Good move coach...
Let's see if Mike Woodson can pull it off. Should be easier now than when Bobby did it.
Of course you know the Big Ten did not penalize Purdue or Coach Keady.
RMK had a winning record against PU, but I don’t think he had a winning record vs Keady.Mike Davis was 9-2 against Keady. If RMK doesn't get fired, then it isn't close. RMK still had a winning record against PU.
Probably one of the most despicable decisions in Big Ten history.Of course you know the Big Ten did not penalize Purdue or Coach Keady.
Would be a very long list of bad decisions to try and rank.Probably one of the most despicable decisions in Big Ten history.
I'd have to care in order to know.Of course you know the Big Ten did not penalize Purdue or Coach Keady.
Now, that was just mean and unnecessary!Davis also went to one more FF than Keady.
That doesn't change the facts of the matter.Of course you know the Big Ten did not penalize Purdue or Coach Keady.
