I'm waiting for someone to explain the difference between Bitcoinmania and the Tulipmania speculation of the mid 17th century.
So, are you relying on the companies remaining solvent to secure your BC ?
Did a major exchange go belly up in the recent past?
Did 2 major banks become insolvent in the recent past?
Are most, if not all banks actually insolvent?
Is the Fed buying more US debt than any other entity currently?

I'm surprised that a good 'progressive' such as you would lump all of them together . I would imagine there are significant differences between say , Judeans, Ashkenazi , Samaritans, Haredi, and other groups, making generalization nearly impossible.

No. I own no retirement funds. None. I own and have self custody of all of my assets. Yes I advocate for self custody.
