Ja Morant or Romeo

Morant over Romeo any day. He was able to score 19 points on 10 field goal attempts. That is scoring efficiency. Romeo would need at least 15 shots to do that, unless he made at least 10 free throws. He can take the ball to the hoop, and shoot the 3, something Romeo can't do effectively. It also appears that he can play good, hard defense.

The only thing I could ding him on is turnovers (7 yesterday). You can live with that when he also has 16 assists and makes the other players better.
16 assists?! holy moly

This reminded me of a young couple I knew who spent $5000 on a photographer's portfolio production because they thought their real young kid would have a better chance to be a child model in one of these "glamor" enticements. The same company offering to make their kid a star was the same company offering the photography shoot. Of course, any parent thinks their own kid is the cat's meow and their plan was to use that money made from her modeling contract to pay for her college education some day. These were not rich folks...gullible maybe, but not rich and even more so after being taken for a ride with no return.
My mother in law modeled for several years in NY / NJ. My wife modeled locally for annual back to school events and a uniform shop. My daughter auditioned and was hired as a model for a catalog that sold cheerleading, school drill team , and band uniforms. She also worked as a "model" for Abercrombie & Fitch and was in the running to be included in company sales ads.

Not only did they not need to pay to be considered, they were paid for their work. Spending more than the cost of some head shots is too much.

A former high school girlfriend has a daughter that started in our hometown the same way as my wife. The difference is this girl now lives in Miami Beach and doe swimsuit modeling and has done commercials as well as been in background shots for TV and movies. The sort of thing where there is a pretty girl in the background at a party or on a beach. She never paid a cent to anyone other than as management costs.

Making a living as a model is as rare and fleeting as being an NFL or NBA player. Those like my mother in law had a short but successful career. The daughter of my friend has had a longer career, but she isn't filthy rich. It will end without her becoming the next Christie Brinkley. It is dumb to pay $5,000 if they expect to get anything back. It is okay if they want to pay the money to satisfy a dream or knowing they are probably throwing their money away with an outfit that just wants their money.

Finally a post in this thread worth viewing. Thanks

I'm still waiting for his daughter's Abercrombie & Fitch photos.

I can say for certain that the little girl needing to fork over the big dough for the photo shoot in hopes of becoming a child model wasn't in line to be the next JonBenet Ramsey, but that's probably a good thing.

I was at Morant's first college game last season in Murray. At halftime of his first game I told my buddy and this kid sees the floor like a 5th year senior already. It was obvious this kid was going to be an amazing point guard, and by the end of last year you knew there was no way he was going to last 4 years in school. He largely deferred to two senior all conference players last year (as was Morant), so his numbers weren't eye popping. However over 12 ppg, over 6 assists and 6 rebounds as a freshman, along with a triple double game as a freshman isn't too shabby. Plus he led the team to conference regular season and tourney titles. He's been a lot of fun to watch to say the least.

I'm sure those pictures are on a certain Facebook page. You would have better luck checking out the 201? BandShoppe catalog online. They are only 300+ pages and they only have 5 or 6 years of catalogs saved on their website. That is all the help I can give you. Post a pic if you think you found her.

AAu ball is a way for otherwise loser coaches to make some money while at the same time prostituting their players to the highest shoe company, it’s a disgrace kids should take their summers off and spend time on family vacations. 365 basketball is dumb
Especially if they are affiliated with adidas

Thanks, man. One never gets too old for one too young, at least not, yet.
