You think that's funny, just wait until they determine that these athletes are "employees of the university." Once they are, what stops them from playing 9-10 years or more?

It’s just as likely that in the future these players will not have to be students. I don’t see how they can be university employees when the schools are forbidden from paying them (outside of scholarships).

FWIW, I would prefer that the athletes worked for the schools rather than being employed by boosters.

I'm not questioning your financial prowess as I have no idea, but if you've got $7M put away...good on you. The money you can make off of $7M in investments is a doctor's salary.
