Duke went 7-5.
The Blue Devils started the season 6-1.
Indiana started the season 4-0, lost six in a row - although most were very close games - then beat Maryland and Purdue on the road to become eligible.
Duke had a four overtime win at Virginia Tech and lost 30-27 to Miami on the controversial lateral play that gave Miami the winning touchdown.
