Got this today:
“What an exciting time to be part of the IU Athletics family! We are enjoying a historic level of success this fall, and we are looking forward to continuing the level of success into the winter and spring seasons as well.
This level of achievement would not be possible without your support, and we are excited to share an opportunity to help make sure we continue these accomplishments for years to come.
Today Hoosiers Connect is hosting an NIL Day of Giving to generate as much support as possible to provide great opportunities for our student athletes. The Varsity Club National Board of Directors has approved to give non-accumulative priority points for NIL contributions made to Hoosiers Connect. These points are used for the allocation of men’s/women’s basketball and football season tickets as well as neutral site events (bowl games, NCAA tourney, etc.). Starting today we will offer Priority Points for NIL contributions made to Hoosiers Connect. These points will be calculated during the football priority point run (March 31) and again with the women’s/men’s basketball point run (June 30). Please see the membership levels and points associated below. Gifts to Hoosiers Connect are not tax-deductible, but do qualify you for some great member benefits. NIL has fundamentally changed college athletics, and we are proud of our leadership role in this space. If that is to continue, maximizing this opportunity will require support from Hoosiers everywhere. Investing in Hoosiers Connect is a win-win. You provide an opportunity for a student-athlete to profit on their Name, Image and Likeness, while also ensuring IU is positioned to continue its rich, championship tradition.
