Why would we want that guy? 4 ncaa tourney games. Won one. Going to wvu to see how he does seems fitting.

He's been at Drake, who Ben McCollum just took over for. He's got a 71% winning percentage. He would have made the tournament this year, and still should have, but they lost their second leading scorer for all but 8 games this year.

He's also under 50. Dude can coach.

He will be 50 in a month. Was at a mid major and has won one NCAA tournament game. Went to wvu and missed the tournament. In ten years from now if he has a 70 percent winning percentage in a major conf with two final fours he’d be a good iu hire. Iu is on par with wvu now in hoops? Not by resources. Completely uninspired and just rolling the dice on a nobody

Didn’t Michigan hire WVU coach for football?
Exactly. After he was there 7 years. Won the conference multiple times. Won big bowl games. If this guy wins the conf 4 times is multiple coach of the year and has deep tourney runs THEN he should be a candidate

He just got to the next rung. Prove he can do it at that level then jump to the big boys

At this point, it would be a bunt for base hit hire. Certainly not a home run.
