I’ve been there a couple times and enjoyed it for the most part. Pretty good food, locals are nice, good scenery. Just have to put up with the topical climate and the 3rd world amenities (pack your own toilet paper )

Only stayed in Makati. Never been out to the island though.

Had a couple of pinay 'friends' here over the years. Excitable is my word to describe them.
