This team looks poorly coached. They arent improving individually or collectively. And his offense has no substance. We don't even screen in this offense. He uses the same Crean dribble weave motion bullcrap. I'm embarrassed right now.

FWIW, Greenspan hired Hep, hired Tracy Smith, and IIRC tried to hire Beilein but was told Beilein's WVU buyout was "too big"

Hard to understand Archie’s struggles. Especially when you look at what Chris Mack is doing at Louisville. UofL was looked to be an NIT team but now is moving into the top 20.

And sometimes, coaches who make the jump to the P5 conference aren’t used to getting 5 star players and don’t know what to do with them. Their niche is getting lunch pail types and coaching them up.
No, Mack is overrated hes not IU caliber and he'd get embarrassed by the top coaches in the BIG. Besides CAM ran him out of Bloomington.

Young at key positions (two fresh, 1 soph start), lack size (the size that have plays small and Juan is the only healthy big who can consistently score/defend), no consistent shooting, the Big 10 is extremely good defensively from to top to bottom, the roster isn't put together yet (2nd year of a rebuild and "Tommy like wingy!"), and injuries have absolutely decimated this team (and if you thing Juan and Romeo are 100% with as many min as they have had to play and as much as they have been beaten up, you haven't been watching). Anyway, this thread is hilarious! Keep up the satire!
Look at Beileins first three years at Michigan and Bennett’s first couple years at Virginia. Nothing unusual going on. Archie’s recruited one class. Takes a while. Have to break it down before it’s built up.
Hell extend it out to 7. If that where our fan base 1 big title and a finals run still wouldn’t be good enough. Oh and then he was .500 after that. His resume at that time was not much better than Creans. Our fans are just unrealistic and lack comprehension.
He has one elite 8 and 3 sweet 16’s. He’s literally the same coach. He runs the same system and was under the same mentoring as Archie. The talent at Louisville is better across the board and didn’t have our unbalanced roster. They literally are the same coach.
And Archie is younger. Which made him the better hire. LONG TERM
The thing is if I was seeing improvement I would tend to think maybe he could get it done. But he looks like a deer in the headlights. He will get four years but I am not optimistic he will get anything done here.
I would disagree Mack played in a tougher conference and the talent at Louisville is not better. He had to piece together a roster this year.
I’m guessing UK had better talent than this team right now. And DD and Hunter would be helping a lot right now.
No the talent isn't better plus CAM beat Louisvile and they havint beat anyone. Were in way before Louisville.
BS. They have a balanced roster and all 4 and 5 star players in the top 7. We start a walk on and have a bunch of 3 stars. Not even close. Their roster isn’t pieced together like ours. We have 1 post player that probably won’t play again.
Let's not forget Mack knocked off Michigan State as well... pretty sure Louisville was The Spartans last loss.
Mack handed UNC its worst home loss ìn the William's era.
Just added another top 25 win in NC State. Several of Mack's losses have been un OT or by a handful of points combined.. hes certainly not getting his doors blown off like CAM.
