I was a never a Letterman fan but he played the perfect Bud Abbot to RMK's Lou Costello . . . he had more assists than John Stockton.
I liked him a lot when I was younger. Then Conan Obrien got the Late Late gig after Lenno and he instantly became my favorite.
But how about the old lady reference? Who can tame down an question like that and reply with an answer that conveyes extreme class and humor. Then explain the real answer about the sweatshirt on the chair. He's always a great man in my book, I don't care what anyone says.
