I think there are. I merely do charity rides or fun rides, though. I do a 35 miler this Saturday to raise money for adoption assistance. My favorite ride though is probably the Hilly Hundred every October. 2 days, 100 miles, hills around Bloomington & Ellettsville

It has nothing to do with aging or drug use, other than the fact that spinal discs degrade over the decades, and when mine do, they impinge on my spine and cause pain and/or numbness.

Playing lots of basketball probably didn't help with my knees, though
