I know many (most?) on here don’t follow the girls so in the title I want to make the topic clear so you don’t wast your time.
For those that do, I have questions I hope can be answered. I now live in the south and girls basketball and especially IU girls basketball is not discussed.
I think Rhet coaches bigs, is that correct? Ali worked with Lex on her free throws. Is Ali our shooting coach? I see Linda Say…. Is no longer with the team. Anyone know why?

I don't know that there is necessarily a designated shooting coach. Ali definitely works with the guards, so it might have just been that she already worked with Lex and since all guards need to shoot to some degree, that's part of her skillset.

No insights about Coach Say, but I would just assume an unhappiness with the way recruiting was going, but that's 100% a guess. Could be anything.

Rhett is listed as working with the bigs, Ali with the guards. Coach Say.... , nothing has been said officially. But we seem to have missed on some recruiting and that was her, so just a guess.

I know Box worked a lot with bigs when he was here too. Holmes talked about how much she learned from him when he took the Miami job. So I am not sure how roles have changed when he left, or if he went where needed.

I am not sure what has been wrong with Wierzba physically, but clearly he has had some health issues. I hope he gets back to normal.

I don’t know that Hulls’ position allowed him to coach. I dunno.

Don't know all the details but normally there are "coaches" i.e. are on the roster as such and can be on the bench in a game but in practices I believe you can have additional instruction by others, probably pretty much anyone either on staff or contracted/consulting.

There was a time when the DBO and some other positions were not allowed to coach during practice and couldn't recruit. I think some of those rules have changed and probably weren't very enforceable anyway.
