It’s hard to spin the “You won’t have to vote in 4 years” comment

Since primaries only extend back to the 1930s or so,and plenty of US Preidents were nominated by party bosses at Conventions, I'd say No. Exactly how many "GOP votes" were cast by citizens for Lincoln before he emerged as his party's Presidentail nominee?
What does that have to do with throwing out the votes of those who voted in the Democrat primaries?

And by the way, it would be impossible for her to cheat on husband because there would be no willing volunteers to conduct the deed. At least no one who is alive or hasn't been drugged...
When the Monica scandal broke I recall Jay Leno holding up pictures of Monica and Hillary.
Asked the guys in the audience, which would you do, or words to that effect.

But you're right - I'd love it if he had his DoJ go after Joe and Kamala the way they've gone after him. Unfortunately, that's not how Republicans operate.
Yeah, it's too bad. And it would be so easy. They could use all the evidence Comer uncovered.

From?

I thought we were friends. Not a gawd dam word as you drove through, you Trumper piece of dung.
It was a whirlwind trip. I drove up by myself to attend a funeral in Kokomo on Friday, then met my wife in grandkids in Ft. Wayne for family get-together on Lake Wawasee on Sunday. Then took the wife and kids to the Indy airport this morning and drove home. Not a lot of time to spare.

Don't worry - I'll be sure to meet you for my free Thai meal early this fall (first home FB game is Aug 31, I think). I'll be like you Leftists and only show up for the freebies.

Do you have any interest in seeing ELO Sept. 7 in Indy?

You left out getting control of the border and improving the economy and keeping us out of wars and establishing energy independence, but yeah, let's focus on the wall.....

Dan. Read better. I mentioned failures to repeal Obamacare, balance the budget, hold Hillary to account, 4% GDP.

He did some good things but failed on several.

With a $35 Trillion deficit and impending WWIII, I wouldn't say we're 'fine' right now.

There's no way the libs suddenly become sane on crime. Just wait until Trump is elected and you will see riots that make the Summer of Love look tame.

Trump has shown zero results on the deficit or debt, contrary to his promises.

No, I read it fine. Agreed, he didn't accomplish everything he wanted, but what President does?

I'm just saying he accomplished quite a bit of what he said he'd do - when he had control over it, he got it done. A President still has to deal with Congress.

And facts show he failed more than he succeeded on a promise by promise basis.

And he had Congress in his corner and he's the greatest dealmaker of all time (he has a book about it). And yet, he couldn't get stuff done.

His first 2 years were Republican and no one thought he'd win and were too disorganized to pass anything except a large tax cut (another promise kept).

Again, name me a President (maybe Reagan?) who has such a great record keeping promises. And Reagan had 8 years, not 4.

You're right. No President can keep every promise. But repealing Obamacare that makes up 1/3 of the economy is a big one to fail at. He had no replacement plan! How can you not have a friggin' replacement plan ready to go?

I'd love to see ELO, but I'll be coming back from a Canadian fishing trip and will have to miss it.

Would it have mattered? No plan of his had a chance in hell of repealing Obamacare, so he tried to nibble around the edges on things like presciption price reductions and billing transperancy.

"While the ACA remains in force, President Trump’s Administration is supporting the case pending before the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the ACA in its entirety that is scheduled for oral arguments one week after the election.

The Trump Administration has moved forward on many other health care fronts. The Administration has proposed spending reductions for both Medicaid and Medicare, along with proposals that would promote flexibility for states but limit eligibility for coverage under Medicaid (e.g., work requirements). The President has made prescription drug prices a top health policy priority and has issued several executive orders and other proposals that aim to lower drug prices; most of these proposals, however, have not been implemented, other than one change that would lower the cost of insulin for some Medicare beneficiaries with diabetes, and another that allows pharmacists to tell consumers if they could save money on their prescriptions. The Trump Administration has also moved forward with an initiative to improve price transparency in an effort to lower costs, though it is held up in the courts. President Trump has made other policy changes that have had a direct impact on reproductive rights, immigration, and on other health care issues that convey his priorities for the future."

I need to talk to you about fishing in Canada. I think we briefly talked about it one time but I want to know more.

I'm trying to decide whether to plan my own trip or find a guide up there to show old farts like me around.

Did you really just ask if it really mattered? F*ck yes it mattered when your talking about 1/3 if the economy, healthcare cost still out of control, reduction of access, and doctor shortage. And came into office with NO plan. NONE! He left it to Congress. And he's leaving it to SCOTUS. He did ZERO.

Hillary paid off prostitutes, cheated, buried a relative on her property for a tax cut, bragged of grabbing men by their dicks, started up Clinton University to rip people off, stole from a charity, paid off porn star to keep him quiet, sold an altered Bible to raise money, refused to return classified documents, set up fake electors/pressure offices/incite mob to overthrow an election, etc

Really making that comparison? I'm not saying she's a saint but there is a large chasm between the 2 in the morality department.

Ahh….another idiot that thought Vince Foster “shot himself 3 times in the back of the head.”

lol I meant I don't think it would have mattered if he came in with a fully established plan on health care - it didn't have a chance in hell of being implemented over Obamacare.

As I said, when he realized that, he tried to alter it.

I'm not interesting in getting into a pissing match about health care - it's a no-win argument for anyone. You do away with Obamacare and UnlceMark and those like him will tell you it would kill them. Obamacare barely passed legality by the Supreme Court. Anything else would also face legal hurdles, once Obamacare was in.

Wait. What? You're dreaming/fantasizing about Joyce Dewitt when her female co-star was Suzanne Somers? And later Priscilla Barnes? Next you'll probably try to make a case for Kate Jackson over Farrah Fawcett. Or Mary Ann over Ginger. Dude!

But quickly back to Trump and Hill. The comparison falls apart when you consider their post-election (hers in 2016, his in 2020) conduct. Yes, Hill groaned and moaned and made some inappropriate comments on the talk-show circuit, but here's the thing. She called Trump to concede the election early in the morning following Election Day, and she attended his inauguration. Trump did neither of those things when he lost to Biden. Then, to make matters worse, he promoted a bald-faced lie (a lie that he continues to perpetuate) that there was widespread fraud and that the election was stolen from him. Further, he meddled and likely broke the law in post-election interactions with state officials and others, and pressured his vice president to ignore the Constitution and decline to to certify the election on January 6. If Pence hadn't stood his ground, then all bets were off. Finally, The Con is once again insisting that the only way he can lose in November (the only way) is if the election is rigged. Rhetorical question, but do you realize how damaging this kind of reckless talk is? He's taken a sledgehammer to a cornerstone of democracy by undermining confidence in our elections.

His post-election conduct is the unforgivable sin and what sets him far apart from any other major party candidate for president in American history. He's wholly unfit for office.
I can't disagree with your comments as a general matter, but I have exhausted my weekly allowable limit of trump and hilary talk.

Instead, now that you mention it, I do prefer brunettes over blondes, and 100% Mary Ann and Kate Jackson. On the sleep table tonight will be Uncle Milton's fantasy booking where Joyce Dewitt, Kate Jackson and Mary Ann star as "Milton's Angels"--a story of 3 beautiful women and their attraction to a certain character from the Water Cooler". That and his response to Covid are my 2 biggest problems with Trump. That being said, he’s infinitely better than Kamala. You certainly understand that.

Absolutely I do. But living in IN, I know Trump will win, so I have the freedom to vote for who I want.

Some say it was Harambe's killing that lead to the shit inflation, high interest rates, low buying power, and general public unrest post 2019. Some even feel the shitlibs intentionally magnified nonsense to tank the economy, loosening voting security, leading to the current situation.

I think most will correctly deduce the America's downward spiral began at approximately 10:15pm Jan 2, 2020, when Indiana failed to correctly defend an onside kick.

America still hasn't recovered.

Geesh, all the other stuff I can deal with, but you done and did it by bringing up that onside kick. Day is officially ruined.

Yeah, no one would allow that to happen on multiple levels... I'd personally help drag him out of the White House if he attempted to illegally remain after his term was up and I'm certain I'd have a lot of help... I highly doubt it ever comes to that...

His presidency will actually be the bridge to a brighter future that Biden lied about...

He's a one term President who'll be spending most of his time trying to clean up the mess that Kamala and Joe have made... I doubt he'll have the votes in Congress to do anything transformational...

4.5 years from now we'll have the individuals as candidates that everyone from both sides wish were running...

This is much ado about nothing...

The Donald saying stupid sh-t and working hard to find a way to beat himself is not exactly a new phenomena...
Excuse me. Didn’t he already try to stay in office when he was voted out? He’s not saying it will be fixed so everything will be wine and roses. He’s saying he’s staying in office no matter what. You people will excuse anything and everything he says. He tells you exactly what he’s going to do. And this time around he’s not going to put qualified people who will push back on his radical ideas. He’s only surrounding himself with loyal sycophants and cultists.

I think the downfall started when Indiana did away with Daylight Savings Time.

But yeah, the failure to cover the onside kick hastened the demise of this great country.
