Your atheism is definitely more militant than cult-like. In fact I’d say militancy pervades your every post.No we're not.

You say that like it's a bad thing.Your atheism is definitely more militant than cult-like. In fact I’d say militancy pervades your every post.
I'd say most cults have a leader or object of worship. I can't think of a cult off the top of my head that doesn't or didn't have some sore to leader to worship. I can think of some cult-like groups like Scientology whose leaders have died, but still exist. Hubbard was the leader and when he died in the 80s he was replaced with another leader to keep the cult-like fire burning.Who says a cult needs a leader? Is that your rule?
You can have a cult built around a belief.
Definitely one of your more mildly militant posts. What did I do to deserve your love? You say that like it's a bad thing.
I’m curious how you define think in this case because it’s clearly got nothing to do with knowledge.I can think of some cult-like groups like Scientology
Definitely one of your more mildly militant posts. What did I do to deserve your love?
I don't think you're a gentleman, and I drink a lot.I have no idea what you're talking about. Bowl says I'm a perfect gentleman, but I think he drinks a lot.
Yeah, but you're an idiot.I don't think you're a gentleman, and I drink a lot.
Not sure that I agree with that because Trump was so unpredictable that they may have been afraid he'd nuke them and he's probably crazy enough to do it.No. He’s an idiot.
And anyone who believes Putin would have been too afraid to invade Ukraine with Trump in office is also an idiot.
No, in real life, Putin was going to do this, anyway. It's pretty clear that his campaign to support Trump vs. Hillary and then Biden had very little to do with personal feelings about Trump or American politics, and everything to do with Putin's opinion that Trump was not a friend of NATO, and his time in office would weaken the alliance. If anything, Biden's win should have changed his mind, but by that time, he was probably mentally all-in, and decided, f*ck it, let's do it, anyway. Not sure that I agree with that because Trump was so unpredictable that they may have been afraid he'd nuke them and he's probably crazy enough to do it.
You clearly don't understand why you piss so many people off. Like Rock, you state your OPINIONS as FACTS as though once you've told everyone how it is the discussion should be over. No, in real life, Putin was going to do this, anyway. Edit: please note, I'm not making any claims about Biden vis-a-vis NATO strength. I'm just describing how Putin clearly views things.
Bowl was drinking at a bar in the middle of Kansas and he said parfuct.I have no idea what you're talking about. Bowl says I'm a perfect gentleman, but I think he drinks a lot.
If you know that, why do you let it piss you off?You clearly don't understand why you piss so many people off. Like Rock, you state your OPINIONS as FACTS as though once you've told everyone how it is the discussion should be over.
Putin may have been going to do it but that is NOT a fact. You can guess how Putin views things but again your opinion does not make it a fact.
I didn't know we spelled "fact" as "pretty clear" now. WTF put sand in your panties? You clearly don't understand why you piss so many people off. Like Rock, you state your OPINIONS as FACTS as though once you've told everyone how it is the discussion should be over.
Putin may have been going to do it but that is NOT a fact. You can guess how Putin views things but again your opinion does not make it a fact.
Yeah, I mean, I'm stating the obvious, but it should go without saying that I'm stating my opinions about what is obvious. If you know that, why do you let it piss you off?
I remember some professor way back when telling me to leave out the “I thinks” and “in my opinions” because everybody knows you’re stating your opinion.

I statements are very important. Now all the cool kids say "I feel like" instead.
They get that from their valley girl mothers who say “I’m like...”Now all the cool kids say "I feel like" instead.
Best to not always have a partisan take. You can argue whether or not that's stupid, but it's not remotely cult-like. Best to reserve words for what they actually mean.
Very introspective of you. I don't know why you are posting your journal entries here, but I hope you take it to heart!Best to not always have a partisan take.
What is obvious on top of what the serious experts who have been following Russia, Ukraine, and Putin for two decades have been saying for at least a decade.Yeah, I mean, I'm stating the obvious, but it should go without saying that I'm stating my opinions about what is obvious.
How do you think Putin viewed this? No, in real life, Putin was going to do this, anyway. Very original. I know you are, but what am I?Very introspective of you. I don't know why you are posting your journal entries here, but I hope you take it to heart!
Yeah, I'm nine kinds of clever.Very original. I know you are, but what am I?
Alea iacta est.How do you think Putin viewed this?
Pentagon push to send more trainers to Ukraine was scrapped in December amid White House fears of provoking Russia
Senior military officials told the Hill they wanted to train Ukrainians on unconventional warfare tactics. But the idea was stopped cold over the administration's worries about escalation.www.politico.com
So Joe was justified, in your mind, for not following the Pentagon's advice?Alea iacta est.
He probably didn't care about that at that point.
So????? Experts are a dime a dozen. What is obvious on top of what the serious experts who have been following Russia, Ukraine, and Putin for two decades have been saying for at least a decade.
I didn't say that. I was talking about how Putin probably views things. That's it.So Joe was justified, in your mind, for not following the Pentagon's advice?
There is practically zero chance Putin views Trump the way you do. You are an American. You view Trump as an American leader/crackpot/jackass. Whatever, however you view him. Putin viewed him as a leader of his greatest geopolitical foe. Very different context. So????? Experts are a dime a dozen.
If the Russians looked at Trump the way I do then they may have been afraid that he would nuke them. I think Trump is missing a few key brain cells... I told my wife more than once that I was concerned about what he might do when/if he lost the election. He's so %%^$ reactive that you really never know what he's gonna do.
I said “serious” experts deliberately. They are not a dime a dozen. I don’t even include journalists that have been covering the Soviet union for 20 years in Russia as serious experts. They’re serious journalists maybe. So????? Experts are a dime a dozen.

And Putin is extremely smart and able to read people. He read right through Trump, the cowardly salesman. There is practically zero chance Putin views Trump the way you do. You are an American. You view Trump as an American leader/crackpot/jackass. Whatever, however you view him. Putin viewed him as a leader of his greatest geopolitical foe. Very different context.
Trump made it clear he didn't like NATO. Putin wanted to use that dislike. It has nothing to do with Trump himself or American politics at all. It only had to do with whether or not a wedge could be driven between the US and UK/Germany/Etc.
@Aloha Hoosier Here's your cult leader! And Putin is extremely smart and able to read people. He read right through Trump, the cowardly salesman.
No Dan, you're confused. lurker is a cult MEMBER.@Aloha Hoosier Here's your cult leader!
Are you sure he wasn’t talking about Putin? No Dan, you're confused. lurker is a cult MEMBER.
In my opinion you always have to weight the good vs the bad in each candidate. I like some of Trump's policies but he was bad as far as representing the US to foreign countries because they never knew where he stood on a lot of things. He was constantly saying one thing one day and something different the next day. I can't imagine trying to have a rational discussion with Trump. You become an enemy if you disagree with him. Like Putin he needs to be surrounded with "Yes" people.Anyone who votes against their beliefs or best interests because they don't personally like the candidate is either stupid or hypnotized by some kind of cult or media message.
I'll be kind and say they are easily manipulated by the media. Ex: Russian Collusion Hoax.
How come we haven't went back to the moon?In my opinion you always have to weight the good vs the bad in each candidate. As far as the Russian Collusion Hoax that was just politics. The media kept it out there because they thought it would help Hillary and all a lot of people see are the headlines. Now there are conspiracy people who will always believe that certain things are true no matter how much evidence points out that it is wrong. There are people today that you could never convince that we landed on the moon.
I thought that was where you were posting from. How come we haven't went back to the moon?
