All Venezuelan domains (.ve) are registered through the National Telecommunications Commission of Venezuela - a state-run censorship operation which provides IP details of anonymous critics of Maduro.

Earlier today, some entity took NTCV offline, including their domain maintenance portal for all .ve (government) websites.

All government emails and MX registrations connected to a .ve domain and all associated DNS records have been wiped.

Credential hashes, such as passwords have been wiped for every single .ve account holder.

Literally 0 chance of recovering the .ve portfolio.

Everything they had, public and private is no longer available to anyone. The Commission's own website, which controlled the keys for every .ve account, including their own, is gone.

Sounds like he’s agreed to fist fight musk too. Musk is in. Hopefully they can find a date that works

Why does a Google News search on "Venezuelan domains" come up with zilch on this? Other than the fact that they're in on it for some reason...

He copied and pasted that from some obscure and extreme wingnut conspiracy theory website. It’s doubtful he understands some of the words in that post as well.

How about for iPhone?

Nope. No more that you can run Windows or Android on an iPhone. There are open source projects out there but none are realistic alternatives (like desktop Linux is).

Does Linux prevent computer AIDS or just nobody wants to sleep with it because it’s out of style?

It is fundamentally more secure by it's core design and architecture. That said, there is a "security by obscurity" factor on the client side.

There are no "Linux viruses" in the conventional sense of the term. Any vulnerabilities you see reported are mostly proof of concept that have already been addressed and/or require a user with admin rights to proactively be involved, and usually those are contingent on the system being out of date, not updated, or otherwise poorly maintained.
