Indiana Kids

Anderson was twice the HS player that Henry was, but Henry had an exponentially better freshman season. Those already writing off Damezi clearly never watched him play in HS. He was a dominant scorer. Scored like 2,500 points in his career. A full offseason in the strength and conditioning program should make quite a difference for him. I also expect a large improvement with his D. Plus, some kids are just immature and being away from home for the 1st time can be really tough as well. I can’t understand not rooting for an IN kid to get better and become a success story at IU. Then again, I read this board daily, so I shouldn’t be that surprised.

Comparing high school to college is laughable. I do not care what Henry did in high school right now he is light years ahead of Anderson at this point. Strenth has nothing to do with Anderson's issues his are bbal iq and totally being lost on the court.

Yep. AJ Moye not from IN, Dane Fife not from IN... hell, all the way back to Bill Garrett; not from IN!
But on the flip side there is a long long list of Indiana players that went elsewhere and had very good careers.

I was sitting with my son at the top of the student section when Oladipo came in and probably shook hands or fist bumped half the section. I miss his type of emotion. AJ Moye was another player that will forever be a favorite. Every freshman should have to sit and watch the Duke/IU game against Boozer.

Bill Garrett was an Indiana Mr Basketball from Shelbyville. You obviously aren’t from around here.
