With, it seems, a relatively high % of kids signing early, what are the implications for college football?

- Given December practice schedules, are bowl teams at a slight recruiting disadvantage when compared to prior years?

Early signing seems to make it harder for newly hired coaches to build out a high level first year class

- Would it be fair to say that, to the degree high profile programs with new coaches (e.g., Florida) have alot of empty scholarship slots, that the lower tier Power5 schools with stable coaching staffs will likely see an uptick in recruit quality?

- If new coaches tend to lose out more than usual in year one recruiting and therefore get slower traction turning around a team, will we start seeing fewer coaching changes (with more incumbents getting the benefit of the doubt and keeping their jobs)?

Any thoughts or observations?
