I've got Matta in 2005-2017 range then Pearl. Going with Matta. You?

Woulda had DJ & Marco. Conley & Odon the following year, EJ locked up with no drama as well. I agree.

Matta...of the coaches that were actually realistic chances, when it would have been appropriate for a coaching change...Matta is the biggest miss, during that time.

People talk about Stevens, but the timing for when Stevens was a no brainer, and when Crean was having success...it never made sense, unfortunately.

Matta, around the time you mentioned, would have had an amplified version of the success he had at OSU...

Conley, Oden, EJ...also Hummel and maybe Johnson from the baby boilers, Harongody, Turner was looking at IU for a while before choosing OSU, so very possible he'd have been at IU...

It would have been a very, very fun run for a decade or so, at least.
