How in the hell does Galloway not start if available??

Galloway and Leal are probably the only players on the team bothered by shitshow

Woody kills me with his lineups and subs. I mean, we're still gonna win, but c'mon coach don't make it harder than it has to be :)
Doesn't matter who starts. Minutes and finishing matters more.

Best move today was sitting Race down, almost every time there was a breakdown in defense in the 1st half, early 2nd, it was Race. He was lost today..

Jordan made a huge impact

yeah that's not getting noticed by some on this board....PS started, yet 3 of our 4 subs played more minutes than him today (only one who didn't was Durr), and PS pretty much sat and watched the entire 2nd half comeback from the IU bench. Might be the same tomorrow, as the ILL guards are small but very fast and good defenders.

BTW, are you the same guy arguing with Ordy over there?

Not overly worried about starters. Plus TG coming off of injury, I wouldn’t start him this game. Let him get the feel on the sideline before throwing him in there. Smart IMO

We've talked about this before and I mostly agree. My point though is that the first time in the game that we saw Trey on the floor at the same time as Trayce and X was when the score was 55-40 Michigan. I absolutely love Woodson, but that is something I just can't wrap my head around!!

Geronimo was huge and I get that you have to pick your spots a little more with him due to the fact that he is a bit volatile when it comes to fouls and mistakes. They don't win today without Geronimo's defensive presence, no doubt about it. Galloway keeps the ball hopping on offense though, and it's typically our offense that gets us in trouble.

Obviously, Trey has only been available in half the games, but he's looked like a player that needs to be getting 30+ minutes every time out.

Anyway, I'm elated they won, I just hope to see more of both of those guys playing when Trayce and X are both out there as opposed to entering the game with Durr.

Trey was not 100% today, you could see it on the sideline. He gutted this one out well. I am sure he is hurting tonight and getting treatment at IU Health.

Race was awful defensively. His close outs are slow anyway.

All it would do is shift players around. Without actual lineup based efficiencies, it's a guess. Would Kopp or Stew be better in a role off the bench to start the game and half. Are the players they paired with more efficient with them vs Trey. Is the lineup more efficient with Trey in the starting combination? Without knowing that. ????.

If he had actually tried some of these combos instead of blindly playing the same guys 35 minutes a game, then we would know that. And we have seen enough to know that Kopp and Stewart should NEVER play at the same time. It is valid to question his lineups this season; they haven't made any sense.

To you.

Considering he's been trying different combos at end game through out the season and no one is averaging 35 mins a game.. and very rarely play that many unless in an OT game..

Yea ........... he's probably not the one needing questioned.

Great point. And not only is nobody averaging 35 mpg but TJD, Race, and X play the most minutes (when X isn’t in foul trouble) and few would or should argue that. Except for the stretch Galloway and Rob were injured I think minutes have actually been split up pretty well overall. Sure I am curious about a person or two from time to time but Woodson sees them in practice and I don’t.

Plus when Kopp can play like he did yesterday he brings a LOT to the table. That has been rare this season but lets hope it continues the rest of the year and we can go on a run!

Player combos are also very matchup dependent.

yup, dude is enraged and personally attacking players coaches and their families. Totally lost it. But at least finally admitting to be a pu fan after years of laughable lies.
yeah he's fun to pick at....he goes zero to nuclear in no time flat. But he's opened the kimono now and is totally unhinged over there. There are some decent posters on GBI who want nothing to do with him and just steer clear. I think the only reason the GBI mod nazis tolerate him is that they see him like a can of bug spray ....let him do his thing and drive driving away IU posters. I enjoy debate but he's an insufferable mean prick who acts above all without really offering any substance to justify his attitude. Probably never even played ball. Probably shoots free throws like Tom Crean.
