that was the AD's move to reward CTA dor the 2020 season IIRC. I didn't mind giving him an extension w/ raise, but I thought the one Dolson gave him was a bit generous. Oh well....gonna have to ride this out a while, one way or the other.

I was being sarcastic on the improvement take. This team / program is a hot turd.
I think any AD would have given him an extension, or raise, or both, but this was a a little too aggressive.
Is this game on a delay? When I saw this post initially the score was 7-0 and your post showed as having been made 8 minutes previously. The Idaho FG was a few minutes later.

6 of 17 for 49 yds and 1 int is not Big Ten caliber especially against this competition. If he stays in, maybe he tries gloves in this rain? Not seen a pass yet that he can consistently deliver. 1 of 7 on 3rd down conversions at home against a team we blew out last year when we truly sucked is discouraging. Glad I went to the Illinois game. Might end up being the highlight of the season.

Bell's play calling seems predictable. Baze is inaccurate and inconsistent. That Int was exactly what I was afraid was going to happen, not that it takes a genius. I feel like the run game is there, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Just be patient, establish the run, work in some play-action. Get Barner involved. Take the check down, no need to be a hero.

Why would they? The team was an abortion in the first half on all levels. Both teams played in the rain and Idaho out played us. It was very disappointing. Glad the coaching staff made adjustments and Bazelak quit sucking ass
