BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's soccer team played the NASL's Indy Eleven to a 1-1 draw in an exhibition match on February 26 at the John Mellencamp Pavilion.

Match Report from IU Head Coach Todd Yeagley:
"I felt our group played very well throughout the match. Playing against a professional team provided our staff with an honest evaluation both individually and collectively. We were able to get several of young players valuable experience that will pay off heading into next fall.

Our passing was sharp on the night. I also felt our spacing and combination play allowed us to get some very good looks at goal. I also felt our defensive pressure and shape was excellent against a high level opponent. We appreciate Indy 11 coming down to play our group as they prepare for their upcoming season in April. It's great for the state of Indiana that we have a professional soccer team in Indianapolis and we look forward to celebrating their success this upcoming year."

The Indiana Hoosiers will resume the spring season on April 2, 2016 when the team plays host to SIU-Edwardsville in an exhibition match at Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Ind. Admission to the match, which is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m., is free.
