I care about baggage especially DV if it was more than once. I’m fed up with people thinking they are special and don’t make mistakes.

Woodson needs to go. Any coach would be better. There is a plethora of coaches that will make the program better, and with IU’s resources all we need to do is get rid of Woodson and pick anyone off of a list.

I bet a lot of programs take that risk. They would also have pretty in depth interviews to vet out the incident.
If you’re ever fortunate enough to run or own a business, I highly advise you to consider that the type of people you hire reflects not only your business (brand) but you as a person.

I wouldn’t work for an asshole that thinks he’s above people that has made mistakes. If a person was constantly having legal issues is one thing but no one is above giving second chances so take your bullshit and stick it.
I’ve been preaching that all year. I’m sure there are rare cases of one time. But the huge majority of men who hit women do it more than once. I’d imagine especially of there is alcohol abuse involved.

IU is not one of the most prestigious jobs in the country. That’s why we are having such difficulty finding a championship winning coach. We have not been in the conversation for 30 years. RMK was not a saint. But he won titles. I wonder if the people so “concerned” with Beard are among those who worshipped coach Knight?

The IU "Brand" has endured dozens of RMK meltdowns (hell we even celebrated them) and his firing, the Mike Davis improbable run followed up with the "help is on the way" era, the controversial Sampson hire after a cheating scandal which he repeated here, the Crean forever rebuild/firing with a few good years in between, the Archie Miller mediocrity tour and now the Mike Woodson mediocrity tour II. If we were to sum up the brand in as few words as possible since the late 90's, I think "shit show" would be apropos.
