I do think that it may play a role but I think its a very minimal role. I have this conversation with guys on our board sometimes. Let me say this, I dont think that is THE reason he choose UK and I dont think that is a Cal tactic, simply because he doesnt need to use it, but I can agree that it may have been in the equation. I doubt that it effects the high elite level kids as much as it does the fringe players who may be there multiple years. The Romeo Langfords and Zions of the world only care about that single year. I also think it may become a bigger issue when a kid is torn between his choices. Little variables like this because a bit bigger of a variable when theyre unsure of what they want to do. So, while I don't think it was THE reason, I can definitely agree that it could have played a role in the decision. Thats fair to say for sure.
