How’s that different than Trump’s position now? If a state wants to authorize abortion on demand until birth he’s good with it. Frankly, I’m not OK with that policy.

I don’t know how you can say that. He said he was leaving it up to the states and had no plans to regulate it at the federal level. Did you miss that? The ardent pro-lifers have been very unhappy with this.
Leaving it up to the states is a different position than not leaving it to the states. What are you struggling to understand?

Exactly what I said. He’s leaving it up to the states which necessarily means that if a state allows abortion on demand until the moment of birth his policy allows for that. This is easy to understand and why pro-lifers do not like his policy.
There are very different conversations to be had. Trump winning the election doesn't forgive his decades long moral depravity. If you want to talk about actual policies, that's an entirely different discussion. It's amazing to me that people do not get it.

It's wild to me that someone would think they were voting for a presidential candidate in the 2024 election based solely on meeting a high moral standard and thinking Trump was the clear the choice.
Trying to compare Trump's moral standard with just about anyone else is like the old Robin Williams joke about a person with leprosy looking at a person with acne saying 'you look really bad.'
