I doubt that. I think the current court has an appropriately narrow view of the scope of the powers of both the legislative and executive branches.
You seem to think they approach these kinds of questions with a lens towards outcomes. I think they approach them with a lens towards separation of powers.
And my guess is that they’d see the issue as one where the Constitution is silent and beyond the scope of Article I powers…which kicks it to the 10th Amendment.
But out of curiosity, which Article I power do you think they would cite in blessing Congress enacting a national prohibition on abortion?

Honest questions. Does Trump’s fear mongering resonate with those of you that support him? Do you take it seriously? Does it motivate you?
Some examples from recent speeches:
“Inflation will surge into double-digits in our own country and your quality of life will absolutely collapse. The quality of life is going to collapse under these lunatics [Harris-Walz].”
“Every autoworker here [Detroit] will be out of a job within three years if I’m not elected. Every autoworker in this state. They’re all going to be made in China,”
“We are going to have a crash, and we’re going to have a crash like a 1929 crash if [Harris] gets in.”
“Let me tell you, if they win this election, every one of you will be gone. They will be vicious. They will be ruthless. They will do things that you wouldn’t believe.”
“A lot of you people are in the American Dream, but you’re going to be crushed if you don’t elect me, I hate to tell you. You don’t elect me, you’re gonna be crushed. ... [You’ll say] we’re going to move into an extremely small house from a beautiful house.”
“It could be the last election we ever have. I actually mean that. We don’t win, I think this could be the last election we ever have. That’s where our country’s going.”

“If we don’t win this race, this country could be finished as we know it.”
If I believed any of that nonsense I suppose I’d be worried. One thing is certain - they’ll study the rise and fall of Trump for decades to come.

Abortion issue in Florida will likely not cause Trump to lose the state, but will it flip some tighter races down ballot?
Possible. If Democrats take the House, Senate, and Presidency we could see 10% inflation. Biden and Democrats were responsible for increasing it to 9%.

Not sure what he is talking about. Democrats stances on free speech have been disturbing the last decade. It’s one of the reasons I stopped being a liberal.
Hyperbole but it’s what happened the past 4 years with Biden and would continue under a Harris administration. Democrat and socialist polices destroy middle classes, which is what I consider the American Dream story.

Actually, there's never been a US candidate for President that says these kinds of things other than Trump.

No one has been more all over the map on any issue than Trump has been with abortion. I think him being OK with abortion on demand until birth if that's what a state wants is going to hurt him if it's gets enough play among the Pro-Lifers. My guess is that the vast majority of them don't know that's his current stance.
