We are not gettingg watfored and lester is doubtful. That wouls be 0 for 5 recently.

IU wasn’t in on Quinones’ recruitment until late in the process. I’d say Archie was lucky to secure an official visit.
The Watford recruitment was doomed from the start, as the prevailing thought is Trendon desires to forge his own path rather than follow in his brother’s footsteps at IU.
Hopefully, we’re able to get Lester. I assumed Watford wasn’t coming months ago. I am surprised we haven’t heard much about more grad transfers.
Hopefully some solid grad transfers in the works. With as lousy as last season was, I think I'd rather see a couple mature, quality grad transfers than even a top 100 frosh. We need to win this year, get some positive vibes around the program, and change the perception going into Archie's 4th season, which may yield better recruiting results. That said how the hell can the state of Indiana not have a shooter we can add? I thought they grew in trees in Indiana. Hell there should be one at HPER lol.
IU intentionally did not invest in the program for decades because it thought bells and whistles were unnecessary and just being IU was good enough to win. Meanwhile, schools that understood reality did what it took to build modern, competitive programs and surpassed IU, maybe permanently. IU still doesn’t get it. Maybe a few more losing seasons will force a culture change.
Watford is a pipe dream. Do we honestly have a shot with lester? I keep hearing memphis No idea why we arent on grad trasfers. Very odd.
Now we sit back and envy schools like michigan and virginia.
would you please quit whining, and posting your whiny ass posts every 2 minutes? All of these more recent guys you're talking about were unlikely to begin with and Archie's trying to get us in with them because we had a couple transfers. I'd be worried if we didn't get a Langford, or TJD.... lose out on those guys and it signals a problem. Brooks has always had his eyes on the bigger programs and Beverly, Harris, Quinones, and I guess the other guy you're counting is that big (mitchell?) that committed to UMASS. All those guys we tried to get in on late and were longer shots. Archie may not ultimately pan out, but whining every 2 minutes isn't accomplishing anything. I'd expect we'll see a grad transfer or 2, and that's probably the best we can do at this point. I'm far more concerned about the health and development of the guys we do have. There's still plenty of talent there if they can stay healthy and work their asses off this summer.
I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. We lost Brooks to UK and Harris to UNC. UK and UNC are who we lost recruits to. Maybe Archie felt a little too good about his chances with Brooks. I suppose I’d be a little more upset, but we lost out to two programs with great recruiters and two programs with much much much much more success than us over the past 20 years to go along with much much much much more recent success.
No clue on Lester. I don’t follow recruiting closely, so I don’t have any inside scoops. Hopefully, he pulls a grad transfer or two out of his a%#. Edit: IULouie posted a link with grad transfers in another thread. Some of them look like solid/decent options.

The chances of coming in to the bread basket of the ACC and snagging a kid away after UNC has offered is just not likely to happen. I said we were unlikely to get him as soon as I read UNC offered. I read he also considered Gtown and MD or UVA and I don't think any of them even got a visit. Archie's doing good to get guys to consider us this late but they are not likely gets. I think you're right on Brooks... he probably should have been keeping other irons in the fire at that time.
UNC wants both Harris and Keeling. Keeling for immediate impact next season. Harris gets healthy and steps into a much bigger role as a sophomore.
I said it before we need shooters Harris was not a shooter. Funny how everybody wanted him now there like he wasn't a shooter. Watford and Davis are both 4's and Watford has been cool on Indiana I say Memphis or Alabama is where he ends up.

The problem is I do not see us going after any shooters. I have yet to see us listed with one grad transfer guard. I am lost right now as to what Archie is doing to fix that major problem for next year.
Yea this is getting scary. Watford is not coming so I don't know who Archie is recruiting but I would be going everywhere to find shooters.
