Happy Birthday Coach Mike Woodson

Respect for his days as a Hoosier to start
His days as a Hoosier got him the head coaching job, and he is paid handsomely, 3-4x what he made as a Knicks assistant, and he's about the 10th highest paid college coach. If he didn't play at IU, IU would never have hired him as the HC.

He seems to be a good guy, I'm sure he is personable, and I'm sure he cares to some extent. Any coach that struggles to win and recruit is going to get criticism of their job performance. Media and IU fans are pretty tepid compared to other schools.

He's been treated very well at IU. Big salary, big NIL, big budget, big fan support at games, and plenty of time to prove himself. We'll see what he can do this year.
