Terrible situation right now. Our history in this country has been checkered. I don't have any answers but a total failed state within our close proximity is not something to be ignored.

Why can't we ignore it? Think we'd get a cold war Cuba situation? Seriously doubt it. Haiti has nothing that would benefit the US in ROI.

Feels different than that. the Dominican is a good place and these Haitians will invade other islands if given the chance. None have quality defenses.
