Yes. Coming in, he didnt have the hype of these other guys. I shoulda just did in state players and had Greg Graham or Pat Graham instead of DJ.
I went by recruiting hype and drama and picked Romeo. Damon was in the news a lot but there was never any real question about him playing at IU.
NIL has been around since forever, just not called NIL! All untaxable under-the-table $$$ that schools have been getting away with over the years is NIL. Im sure all these listed players got some sort of compensation!

I voted Zeller instead of Gordon. Thinking he'd have been well payed, to stay and not turn pro early.
But Gordon by a mile for the first year. Sampson would have broken any rule about not being involved with the collectives. And that's his guy. Would've been huge.
