They were ready to cut the football team. It was 133 out of 133 in worst football programs. He has made them very decent, respectable, year after year. He’s a winner. And you can probably get him pretty cheap and quickly.

Agreed. From this Hoosier fan's perspective, Chris Creighton would be a great hire.

EMU was a moribund program until Creighton resuscitated it. His sustained success there is quite remarkable.

The argument against Creighton is there a much smaller gap between the bottom of the MAC and the top than there is from the bottom of the Big 10 to the top. I don't think competing with Toledo at Eastern is the same as beating Ohio State at IU.
