Stupid and just f-in annoying. The average. Yea the average sucks everywhere, but at least in Japan they are quiet and I can't understand them. Americans suck. Loud, bragging about being buzzed at an airport bar, wtf. The guy next to me is pretending to be into k pop to pickup some quarter Korean girl. Stupid people.

I insulate myself from them on a day to day basis, but when you are near them the stench is horrific. Better to always be on the move traveling around. That's my plan.
Myself and several of the guys I was in the Navy with would wear shirts with the Canadian flag on it while we were overseas...anything to hide the fact we were Americans.

I agree, Americans can be terrible. Among the worst are the ones that bitch incessantly about how terrible America & its inhabitants are, but when you ask them what they're doing to improve things they look at you with a blank stare. Or why they don't live somewhere else if they have no intention of improving their condition. It's like they don't understand what you're saying. They are the same people that bitch about their job or career choice but are too stupid to quit & do something else. It's laughable. There is a word for them, it's malcontent. If I was that ashamed to be one, I wouldn't be one...stupid Americans.

Friend, I had no intention to say or imply you were stupid. I'm just making the point that we have it pretty good here as far as freedoms when compared to the rest of the world. It's not perfect by far and we could lose those freedoms. But we still have them at this present moment and I am thankful for it.

Yes, those things happened in different parts of the country. But Ralph do you really honestly believe that most Americans approved of such actions? I don't believe so. Now, it could be they didn't stand up to wicked people and that could be their crime. But don't we have the same thing today? Planned Parenthood brags about selling baby organs and many people in this country ignore it. I'd say we have always had injustice and always will have some sort. It just takes different forms.

Anyone that travels much knows all about the ugly American. Sadly , they are everywhere. And annoying as hell. Thinking other people are stupid because they don't speak English, don't have ice, etc. Try to blend!!!
