He really is. He's strong can rebound. He can finish underneath. He can stroke it from the outside. He is gonna make some money soon.

Garza is a matchup nightmare. Big dude, great footwork near the basket, good mid range shot and over 40% from 3. Pick your poison with him. The guy played heavy minutes last night and was still nailing 3 points with 2 minutes to go. The guy has a good motor and good set of lungs.

Don't forget if you can get them to suspend a player and have another get injured! I think with the way we played, we'd have won anyway, but those didn't hurt!

He can pass too. That flash double kept him from passing into the post. Justin stayed on wieskamp so he couldn’t dish off. Made it hard on them to score inside.
yeah Victorbear's boy Justin actually made Wieskamp's life hell for most of the game and really frustrated him. He did get some points once Justin got his 4th foul but by then the game was in hand and they turned out to be mostly garbage points.
Garza has all the tools. Not sure how well he'll do in the NBA with the way the game has 'evolved' (cringe), but he's got unstoppable skills for NCAA ball and especially the B1G where he can throw muscle around more without foul trouble.
He may not be the quickest Big Man you will see, but he has excellent footwork inside, and he doesn't rush his moves. Plus he can step out and hit 3's, and he seems to have the court vision to pass effectively. You can live with a guy like that on the floor, even if he has some Defensive Deficiencies.
I think you're right. Box score says 40 so he was out less than a minute total. He plays the way I wish I had played and I was good enough to be offered a scholarship but NOT at the P5 level. Not close.
