I've been waiting all afternoon to post this because I wanted to be 100% sure. I got a text this morning about it and admittedly I thought it was a rumor at first. I've been waiting to make sure its 100% before posting.
I can say with 100% confidence that Billy and his wife were in Bloomington this morning.
I don't see any scenario where he and his wife come to town and he doesn't take the job. It's happening!!!

Look at it this way, if his parents want to see him play, a weekend trip is fairly easy to Milwaukee but even a 3 day weekend trip would be difficult driving all the way to Bloomington. I'm sure IU has ways to address this, but in terms of comparisons, that is one thing Milwaukee&Marquette have an advantage in.

Milwaukee is about 4.5 to 5 hours away but mainly keep in mind that they play in the big east, so there aren't many schools around him.

We play Minn, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, etc every year (for the most part) as you know.

So they don't think the close to home narrative is as big of a deal, if it was then the gophs would be stronger you would think.
