Well the UN schmooze-fest and climate conference is about to get underway in Glasgow Scotland. 20 000 delegates are expected including renowned climate scientists Barack Obama, Greta Thunberg., and 13 U. S. cabinet secretaries with President Biden in tow. The conference is planned to be heavy on the horrors we face and the need to drastically cut fossil fuel consumption for us serfs, but not for the lords. Private jets are still okay. There will be presentations about the dangers of fossil fuel consumption, the need for more EV’s and electric buildings, and the necessity of even greater investment in renewables.

What’s missing? Next Generation nuclear power. Carbon recapture technology. Both are vital parts if we are to be serious about cutting carbon emissions. Using climate to advance non-climate agendas is becoming more obvious by the day.

I can’t take seriously climate horrors spoken by those who fly on mostly private jets and live in outrageously large mansions in locations where energy supply lines are unreasonably long and travel is accomplished with a heavy carbon footprint, and who pretend that renewables are the answer.

in the end, population control is the only road to a livable future.

electric cars, solar panels, nuclear power, whatever, aren't going to do it.

but capitalism and religion aren't ready for that grownup discussion yet, and better to have it collectively than leave Xi or others thinking they need to do this on their own.

how would you?

we can try doing it voluntarily with incentives first, and see how that goes.

if that doesn't work, mandates eventually would be needed.

start with limits on the number of kids allowed i suppose.

to work without many going looney toons, society needs convinced that it isn't always all about them, and only about today.

currently the world population is doubling every 64 yrs, down from every 37 yrs between 1950 and 1987, so the pill, other birth control, and abortion, have slowed things considerably.

but the voluntary birth control card has already been played, and therefore lowering the current every 64 yrs becomes much more problematic.

population control being required isn't a matter of if, but when, and to what extent.

and no elected politician want's to go anywhere near that reality.

nor will voters allow them to till things are really out of hand, and mandates must become much more oppressive.

we all realize the earth has a capacity limit, even if many want to deny it as long as they can.

going green as much as possible only marginally increases that limit, it doesn't eliminate it.

don't shoot the messenger for a message we all already knew, and just didn't want to admit..

We could try convincing parents to inject an experimental cell-altering platform into younger age groups even though those age groups are not at any risk pertaining to a particular virus that produces an over-hyped immune response leading to complications that have proven to be especially deadly for a subset of people over the median age of life expectancy (And if you can't convince them, just mandate it).

Perhaps the platform causes the body to produce a spike protein that gathers in the ovaries of women, and causes heart attacks in young, otherwise healthy men. Infertile women and a shortage of men will do the trick.

(Or maybe just teach kids in school that there is no such thing as women and men and get them to believe really young that they are trans so they seek medical options that leave them sterile.).

Western industrialized societies have already reduced births below replacement levels. Improve people's lives enough and they choose to limit the size of their families.
