seeing Trayce Jackson-Davis play.... Center Grove will play the second
game against Ben Davis in Washington, Indiana next Saturday.

Washington
Class A | Barr-Reeve (25-2) vs. Bloomfield (20-7) | 4 pm ET / 3 pm CT
Class 4A | Center Grove (21-8) vs. Ben Davis (19-7) | 6 pm ET / 5 pm CT

Nice. Think it will sell out?
The Hatchet House seats over 7K, so it won't sell out. That being said, Montgomery (Barr-Reeve) is 5 minutes down the road and the town will be emptied for the game. Bloomfield is 40 minutes to the north, a Barr-Reeve rival, and travels well.

The drive times for Center Grove and Ben Davis are ridiculous - another reason class basketball sucks.

Yeah, very familiar with the area. I have not been in the Hatchet House for a Semi-state and didn't know how the teams up north would travel. Don't know if I can go or not but would like to be able to at the last minute if I can.

Montgomery is only seven miles from Washington. I used to ride my bicycle to there and then worked my way up to riding all the way to Loogootee. Bloomfield is about an hour from Washington so I believe the Hatchet House will be somewhat full. When Barr Reeve plays Washington it is actually a huge event. A buddy of mine said that both schools really look forward to it and it is well attended.

Barr-Reeve's coach went to high school and played for Bloomfield, so there is also that. Should be good.

My son-in-law is the younger brother of Coach Josh Thompson. From what he told me... the last time that the Current Coach of Bloomfield and Josh Thompson was at a Semi-State game.... is when Josh played for him at Bloomfield. So that adds some interest to the game.

Josh is a great guy and coached at our school several years ago.

It could be north of 6,000 Saturday.
Big question is .Does Indy bring a crowd.
Last year Indianapolis Scecina was here .Didn't bring much .But the TJD / Jones matchup should stir the interest. That's a two titan's in middle.

Bloomfield is an hour from Washington? You must be traveling by horse and buggy! It’s only about 30 miles.
