Finish this sentence: For Indiana to have a successful season......

Any of those coaches take over a top 5 historic program that won 2 of the last 4 conference titles before they arrived?

And it’s absurd to give John Groce the same patience as what guys like Pearl, Barnes, etc have EARNED.

That’s because no blue blood program has fired a coach who won his league two of his last four years. Lol. And you’ve sprung another logic trap on yourself...

Nope - IU did...
And since, Archie has failed to build on it...missing the tourney in each year...

unless you are insinuating that IU is not a blue blood - which is a different argument...but not that I disagree any longer...

IU bball is becoming more and more like SMU football...

That was my point. Again, lots of good coaches miss the tourney early on. But I get the voices in your head make this all pretty confusing...

No, IU b-ball is not “more and more” like SMU football. Lol. F*** — you are emotional and dumb.

Anyhoo, let us know when you have detailed commentary ready on Archie’s in-game stratagem...lol

Let Archie coach and all of us watch.
Another almost 5 months until the team actually plays. Until then let's do some fishing and hunting and chill out on the Archie hate, the guy has had one season of his own original recruits. It is hard to change the team in one season with only one class of your own recruits.

John Groce, wtf, you are way out there. When was he ever mentioned, and what does he have to do with the S16 coaches/teams of 2019?

Archie is many multiples more likely to be our John Groce than he is to be any of those coaches in this year’s Sweet 16 who have had previous success at big programs.

I’m always willing to educate when people are willing to learn.
I've been waiting all afternoon to post this because I wanted to be 100% sure. I got a text this morning about it and admittedly I thought it was a rumor at first. I've been waiting to make sure its 100% before posting.
I can say with 100% confidence that Billy and his wife were in Bloomington this morning.
I don't see any scenario where he and his wife come to town and he doesn't take the job. It's happening!!!

Billy D. is about to be changing jobs soon. I think he is going into his final contract year and OKC is heading for a rebuild. Nobody wants to play with Russ. First Durant. After 2 years paul George had enough.

Is Russ a cancer or just a ballhog?

Is Russ a cancer or just a ballhog?

Maybe a little of both.

Ballhog - He shoots his teams out of games with poor shot selection especially in crunch time in the 4th when he has guys like Durant or PG13.

Cancer - There is always extracurricular drama around him the individual vs something. He always has a sideshow going on. It never seems to be about the team.

I can’t fathom how some IU fans place blame on the 18-21 year old players - calling them low i.q. kids!!!

The players on the court are doing what they've been instructed to do. If they aren’t, then Archie wouldn’t be leaving them on the court. So Archie either isn’t communicating well to the players, isn’t disciplining players for failure to follow the plan, or most likely - there isnt much of a plan in place!

I’ll bet you use the phrase “l can’t fathom” quite often given your intellectual & emotional state...

Bingo. It’s just a way for selfish grown adults to blame hard working kids for the failures of other grown adults who are making millions of dollars off them. It’s pathetic.

Not to mention how dumb the term “low basketball iq” is.

It’s just a vague term used by people who know absolutely nothing about basketball. You’ll never hear a coach use the term.

OKC has since dumped Russ the Ballhog/ Cancer.
